It can be overwhelming to look for so many things before buying or renting a House. The first viewing can be awkward and can be a bit confusing when the vendor tries to force you to buy the property.
If you are busy and don’t have enough time to view the neighborhood then you can look for google street view and get to know it. There are many factors you must consider before buying a new house. So, there are numerous Red Flag To See Before Buying a New House. And have so many unforgivable Reg Flags you have to Consider.
Here are some Outside house conditions to look at
1 Neighbor
You must check whether your neighbors are owners or renters. And how frequent the tenants are changed. If you want to know more about them you can ask them a few questions about construction and what the neighborhood is like.
If the neighborhood does not give a good vibe you should avoid such investments. And it is important to go on a walk in the neighborhood and at the night to see if you find anything suspicious.
2 Parking
You have to check if there is enough space for the vehicle to park even if you don’t own a car. If there are more vehicles than the house in the neighborhood that means you might have a large family living nearby and that means there will be plenty of coming and going. If you are comfortable with it then you can go for the house.
3 Neighboring Yards
If the Yard grass is greener then the house is filled with people and the yard is taken care of. IF the yard tends on the drier side, then it might be a signal that the owner might not be at home quite often. Kids playing with toys and cycles can signal a friendly neighborhood.
4 Stores
Make sure you have stores nearby some basic like a grocery store, vegetable market, or a garage for emergency vehicle breakdown. It is really important to have stores of daily necessities nearby because not in every emergency do you have time to go away in the car for just basic necessities.
Having a diner or small food stall will also be great to have which will make your take
5 Google Street View
If you don’t have enough time to view what the neighboring looks like you can always view it virtually. This makes your house hunt a tad bit easy. Also, look for some news on google about the near areas area and a criminal record as well. Google news will also help you to know the neighborhood really well.
6 Building condition
As the inside of an apartment is important so is the outside. If the building looks worn out and has huge cracks in it then it is better to not invest anything in that apartment. Look for your apartment from the street if you have a nearby street and see what other people walking can see easily.
It is really important to know how your house looks from the outside for safety purposes. Also, take a look at the rooftop if you see any cracks or something in it and you will also get an idea about the neighboring from the top of the building. Stairs are also important to get to know if the building is in the good condition.
7 Noise
It is always important to know how your neighborhood feels and that means noise too. If your neighbors love playing music loud then it is a huge problem for you.
So, to make sure how the neighborhood feels like you should take a stroll near the apartment and in that neighborhood So visit your apartment during school hours and see how it is during those hours.
And also visit the same place in the office time or at the time when usually people go home you will get to know what community of people majorly live in that area. And how noisy it can get during those hours. If you have a nearby park you can visit there as well and listen to what people are talking usually when people talk they also spill things they don’t like about the neighborhood it will help you to make the decision.
8 Trees
The greener the neighborhood is the better it is for your physical and mental health. As trees bring calmness into your life but you need to make sure that the trees are not too close to your apartment or window the safety issues.
Also, make sure that the trees are in good condition or not because usually old trees have mice on them and different types of insects which can lead to headaches at some point in time. Then, make sure the trees nearby do let good sunlight inside the house during the time do and not block it otherwise winters will be colder because of this.
9 Parks
As we previously mentioned the greener the environment the better which can bring fresh air into your house which is good for your health as well. Having parks nearby can help improve your health by taking walk in the park to clear your mind.
So, You can also go for a run in the park. If you are parents look for parks which your kids can enjoy.

If you have pets look for pet-friendly aspects and if you don’t have pets always make sure that the neighboring area does not have huge pets or loud pets because pets can be the thing that we ignore and regret our decisions all the time.
We had a neighbor who had the loudest dog you could ever imagine and the dog used to bark all night which led to bad sleep.
You don’t need to memorize lots of questions and while viewing you should always remain calm. Even if you like the apartment and you didn’t get it then it means it was not meant for you.
And You should not take random quick decisions while looking for a house it is important that you know what you want and makes sure you get what you want. Also, make sure there is no dumping area there nearby you. And restaurants or other food outlets will leave a cooking smell in the neighborhood.
